Filzmoos is nestled in a magnificent mountain region, dominated by the striking 2,454 metre Bischofsmütze mountain, and boasts a specially designed network of hiking trails which are also ideal for mountain biking. The 200-kilometre network offers trails of all levels – ranging from routes for walking to mountain trails and more challenging rock climbing trails.

The Erlebnispark Filzmoos leisure centre promises hours of watery fun, while the lakes of the Salzkammergut region and the Carinthian lakes are also well worth a visit.
